This digital collage, made specifically for Blueprint Magazine and the exhibition Paper Cities: Urban Utopias, merges many different illustrations about future cities made in the 1950s that were depicting the optimism of the time. It contrasts the current climate of extreme pessimism when thinking about the future while also showing that expectations were perhaps a bit too high.
